I am discipling an American woman and a Chinese woman, and they met and are now doing a study in the book of John with two other Chinese women. It is multiplication!

Hi Tim,
what brings me to this group? I'm a student in Berlin, the most multi-cultural city I know (well, but then...I don't know that many cities either). I think I have more foreign friends than German ones...and I really enjoy all the different accents, customs and languages. I'm interested in cross-cultural discipleship not only because there are so many different nationalities around me, but also because I love being around them, first to learn from them, but also to share my faith.

Welcome to newcomers, as of today, that means you Marlene, in the future it applies to the rest of you.

I thought I would start us off by making a quick introduction. I will tell you where I am from orginally, where I am now and who I am working with. Finally, I will share a ministry challenge.

I am originally from Chicago area, USA. I currently live in Eindhoven Netherlands. I work as an elder and Bible study leader and Men's Ministry leader at our church of about 125 people. We are a very diverse people from about 40 countries.

A ministry challenge for us is building/discipling people to be leaders, many people come and go so quickly. Some are students and some are expats and they can be here for three months to three years.

What brings you others to this group?
