Grace - More than we deserve, greater than we imagine

Max Lucado’s new book on an oft discussed topic says this about grace: “Here’s my hunch: we’ve settled for wimpy grace. It politely occupies a phrase in a hymn, fits nicely on a church sign. Never causes trouble or demands a response. ... Grace is the voice that calls us to change and then gives us the power to…

New Missional Books

Two notable “missional” authours have just written new books – and both are worth reading but for different reasons. Michael Frost and Hugh Halter.

I’ve had the opportunity to hear Michael Frost in person. He is a dynamic personality that inspires you to be bold for the Gospel. I still recall some of the amazing stories that helped me understand why God is calling us to His mission. His newest is…

Hi Dennis,

Kim's comment in her book in regards to not creating noise just to fill space is easily done with t.v., game systems...! How awsome when we get a moment to even put on quiet God uplifting music and lay in stillness as we inhale His majesty and presence! I had that opportunity this week (when the tv wouldn't work! - perhaps that was a God thing??! ) - I just know that I was MUCH more blessed by it!
Blogging is new to me - actually -you are the 1st ! -so -- bear with me while I learn!

So who tells me that we are more than internet freinds? Do all people assume their freinds or is there a "big brother" out there somewhere saying we are officially real and not cyber freinds? :)

It so good to have my computer program tell me that you are now my freind. Good to be on board.

Hi Dennis! Thanks for saying hello. Yes, Tonya and I remember you well. We are back / still at Lakeside, after being away two years on mission in Puerto Rico and now with SIM. In fact, I have the pleasure of occasionally working with your colleague Mike Noble in a SIM project, SUBS.
