My Response: Re-thinking one’s thoughts is critical. You will never grasp the fuller depth of capturing the mind of Christ without first losing your mind. I have personally learned that one of the most difficult things for a person to do is to rethink his or her thinking. It is very easy to tread the same path of thought and never get to a new level of purer and richer understanding. Re-thinking single thought about everything causes one of see truth emerge from various conners of one’s visual perspective. When, I would come home from a long day from pastoring. I decided to enter the same family room the same way each time I stepped across the threshold, however, I never sat in the same place in our family room. It was amazing what I learned from doing that every time I came home. I learned a great deal seeing our family room through new eyes. Re-thing one’s thoughts is no different. This helps you to see with new eyes and a new mind to process what your eyes are able to see in a strategic way.
My Response: Why not now? If not now, then when? Our world is ever changing. Change is an invitation to freshness. Freshness requires ongoing and perpetual change. Living organisms are always changing. The way you know that you are not dead is that are constantly changing. This is called maturity. When you get home, try my simple example and you will be amazed as you discover a whole never perspective.
My Response: A reimagine process is more of a fluid experience as opposed to a concrete event. I have learned to avoid being event oriented. I have learned the incredible value of experiencing my experience in a fresh and vibrant way. Inside every experience is something to behold. However, don’t hold it too tight. Hold your experience gently and you will never stop growing.
My Response: You must begin from within. Slow down before you speed up. I have learned that slow is the new fast when comes to being a creative thinker. So, begin small and stay small until you graduate to a deeper level of creative thought. So, let me say it once again. Begin from within. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reports, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (KJV). I have learned what it means to embrace the “Power of God” within me. Where our being begins. Thus, being where you are in Christ and your start will never stop. It all depends upon the origin of our true beginning point. Our true beginning point must begin in Christ as new creatures for God’s glory. Then, and only then old things will become new, once Christ is at work in you.
My Response:

WHY?
My Response: Let me share with you as Christian leaders some profound principles I learned in my journey to wholeness and holiness. I honestly believe that if you would simply take the time to think “Godward” your ministry, church, mission, and Christian business will be catapulted to a new level to of spiritual insight. These are only a few of some of the key principle driven insights that the Holy Spirit of God shared with me in order for me to pass such insights alone to the “Next Generation.”
First of all, people don’t like change. The status quo is for far too many people a safe place. You will never get to the next level if you are not willing to do what Peter did in coming to Jesus. You must be willing to step out of the boat. Peter stepped out of the boat, but he took his eyes of Jesus. Peter allowed an earthly storm to distract him from keeping his focus of the One who gives us peace in the midst of the storms of life. When you are able to see your storms and challenges through the eyes of the Prince of Peace, then and only then you will be able to say. “He gives me peace in the midst of a storm.” Suggestive readings: Hindrances to Revival in the Local Church, Preaching for Spiritual Awakening, Mighty Men of God, Awaken, and The Matter of the Heart.
WHEN?
Agree/Disagree and explain your choice.
Action: The solution to my agreement is to go fishing in the pagan pool of this lost, sinful, racially divided, hurting, spiritually broken, confused, and dying world is we must become Soul Winners. Proverbs 10:30b says, “And he who wins souls is wise.” (NKJV). The perfect tool to help disciples of Christ to elevate their soul winning passion is The Soul Winning Manual. I wrote this soul winning manual as a resource during my call to serve at the Missouri Baptist Convention and while I was on our Southern Baptist Convention Prayer Team with Henry Blackaby, Elaine Helms, Claude King, Gregory Frizzell, Phil Miglioratti, and several others. The Soul Winning Manual has been used from the Philippines to North America. If you want to see real deep changes in the lives of people, I would love to receive an invitation to do my One Day or Weekend Soul Winning Summit at your church or for your denomination. Soul Winning is still in style.
WHAT?
My Response: To “reimagine” means to take a fresh look at something from a new perspective. It is an effort an effort to see with new eyes. Not simply new eyes but also a new heart. Our hearts, as Gospel Driven Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, must be willing to change our human lens to see through the divine eyes of God.
Seeing through God’s eyes are truly a mystery. I have learned that the only way one can see through God’s eyes one must embrace God’s heart. In the heart of God are the Nine Fruit of the Spirit that is found in Galatians 5:22-23. When we do our very best to “reimagine” through the eyes of God we will truly see people in a way. Jesus spent time with people who failed and refused to spend time with God. He was able to do this because He loved people—all people. Jesus errored on the side of love and not law.
Law is a rod of judgment according to Old Testament Laws, whereas love is a towel of compassion season with Grace and Mercy according to New Testament Love. Learning to engage in “reimagining” is critical today. Our nation is in trouble. The only way to get our “get out trouble key” is to remember that we are all the same in the eyes of God. We will never become one unless see become one with Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Black, white, red, brown, and yellow are just colors—colors of ethnicities.
However, when we “reimagine” what Jesus did at the cross, something new is birth. When we “reimagine” the empty tomb, something new will come alive in us. Spirit-led disciples of Christ are eager to become soul winners. This is where John 17 comes alive. We are only one in Him when we are one with Him. Then there is no division—just unity.
Seven deadly sins, also called seven capital sins or seven cardinal sins, in Roman Catholic theology, the seven vices that spur other sins and further immoral behaviour. First enumerated by Pope Gregory I (the Great) in the 6th century and elaborated in the 13th century by St. Thomas Aquinas, they are (1) vainglory, or pride, (2) greed, or covetousness, (3) lust, or inordinate or illicit sexual desire, (4) envy, (5) gluttony, which is usually understood to include drunkenness, (6) wrath, or anger, and (7) sloth. Each of these can be overcome with the seven corresponding virtues of (1) humility, (2) charity, (3) chastity, (4) gratitude, (5) temperance, (6) patience, and (7) diligence.[1]
WHERE?
My Response: I am so appreciative of this question. The question focuses on genesis, i.e., ones beginning. An accurate beginning will most often result in a positive and productive ending. I would recommend leadership who are seeking to be effective and efficient leaders that they should always focus on what their anticipated ending would be, even before them begin. Where does one begin? Where do I recommend a leader look first to ensure that they commence a truly Spirit-led, Scripture-fed journey?
WHO?
PRAY!
THE PRAYER OF A REIMAGINING JOURNEY TRAVELER: Precious Lord take my hand and lead me on and let me stand. Jesus if there has ever been a time in which we need Thee, we need Thee now. Our nation is in trouble. We need Your divine intervention to send revival to our shores and open the floodgates of a fresh move of God to sweep clean all that is not of Thee. Father, heal our land but first begin by healing our hearts. Our heart will not be healed unless we open our minds to embrace the very mind of Christ. Lord, remove the division that exist in America. Restore to us all that the locusts have eaten. Forgive us of all our sins. Help us to realize that that we are indeed Thy people. The Evil One is dividing us however we will not allow him to do so. We take You at Your Word that we are indeed Your precious people. We are and we shall forever be “One Nation! Under God! Indivisible! With Liberty and Justice for ALL.” Lord Jesus we need a John 3 Revival Moment to Remove a Genesis 3 deception, which will cause us to experience an Acts 2 Spiritual Awakening. It is now time for us to embrace a New Generation—The Joshua Generation—Joshua 1. Lord, let the walls fall down! In the Name that is above all other names and that Name is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen! Amen! Amen! One for the Father! One for the Son! One for the Holy Spirit!”
